Production-Based Apprenticeships
Burro'd provides hands-on training in an apprenticeship format for emerging and established arts workers that are looking to level-up their skills.
You will often see Apprentice Directors and/or Producers hard at work through our rehearsal processes, receiving hands-on experiential learning as well as 1:1 instructional time with Burro'd Theatre's Artistic Director, Iain Moggach.
Our first official Apprentice Producer was Christina Wood-Horton, assisting in marketing, admin, and various essential coordination duties for The Seagull in 2025. Christina was an incredible asset to the Seagull crew, and we can't wait to see where she grows from here!
Production-based apprenticeships are customized for the individual and coordinated on a rotating basis, so the call for interest in these opportunities is always open. If you would like to learn more about any apprenticeship possibilities, please contact us directly and introduce yourself at info@burrod.ca.

Christina Woodhorton
Inaugural Apprentice Producer
Assisting in marketing, admin, and coordination duties for The Seagull, Chrissy is Burro'd Theatre's first Apprentice Producer!
